Great Fosters Hotel is rather handily, a hotel! It is however only made up of around 48 rooms. So if you want to stay then we would recommend that you book this early. There are a number of alternative options in the area (see below) although these are also likely to book quickly in peak times.

The hotel website has everything you need to know, including rather fundamentally the location! The link is here: Great Fosters Hotel

There are several different room types, which are outlined in detail here: www.christopherwaters.co.uk/Rooms.pdf and further information is also available on the Great Fosters website.

ALTERNATIVE ACCOMMODATION

There is a variety of alternative accommodation in the area, thanks to the proximity of Windsor Castle, Runnymede and Eton Dorney.

If you are going to look outside of Great Fosters, we recommend that you use Trip Advisor AKA The Travel Oracle, or similar, to search for accommodation in the surrounding area. There are a number of hotels, Travelodges and Bed & Breakfasts to chose from.

Nearby towns are Egham (1-2 mins by car), Staines (6 mins by car), Virginia Water (8 mins by car), Chertsey (8 mins by car) and Windsor (15 mins by car).

PLANES, TRAINS & AUTOMOBILES

The Venue is accessible by just about any form of transport: plane, train, car, helicopter (yes really), elephant (sure, if that’s your choice).

By Car:

The venues are located close to the junction of the M25 and M3 to the west of London.

Car parking is readily available at both the Church and at Great Fosters.

The Church is only a six minute car ride from Great Fosters……cue handy map:

Staines, Egham and Virginia Water rail stations are all within striking distance of the venues. Regular trains (South West Trains) run from London Waterloo or London Vauxhall and take approximately 40 minutes.

If you are travelling from the North East then the trains usually terminate at Kings Cross station. The easiest way to connect to South West trains is to take the Victoria tube line down to Vauxhall and then cross over to the train station, which is literally across the road from the tube station.

Tube and Rail Maps can be found here.

By Air:

London Heathrow Airport is only 7 miles away and there are a number of companies that operate airport pickups. If you want any additional information or pointing in the direction of a couple of companies that offer this service just let us know and we can easily pull something together!

London Gatwick Airport is approximately 40 miles away, which takes around 50 minutes by car. Again, there are a number of companies that operate airport pickups but because of the increased distance these will inevitably be more expensive.

Alternatively you can get a train directly from Gatwick to Clapham Junction and then changed to the South West Train mentioned above through to Egham, Virginia Water or Staines. This journey takes about an hour in total.

Good Luck with that one………
